To be honest I think Lyakhovich was overrated after his win over Brewster, Brewster nearly finished him of even with a bad eye. Lyakhovich constantly throws lead rights to the body which is a bad move if brewster hadn’t hurt his eye i think he would have started countering those punches. Vaulev is slow but i would say he would win a close decision.

Yes but since when has Valuev been able to counter punch? Lyakhovich's win over Brewster was a very good win and he was tested in that fight and showed alot of heart. I dont know what happened with him in the Briggs fight but i think that it had alot to do with Briggs getting into his head before the fight. Think about it, Brewster is a much bigger threat than Briggs. Besides, what really makes me confident is the fact that Lyakhovich is the one that called Valuev out so obviously he sees a way of beating him. In my opinion, Lyakhovich boxes, picks his shots, and decisions the slow and robotic Valuev by MD.

Yes the win over brewster was good but not as good as some people make out due to brewsters eye injury which effected his performance. I agree that valuev is slow but I think he can decision lyakhovich but it will be very close

Brewster has some great wins over very good and top opponents. He TKOed Wladimir in the 5th, Golota in the first, and Krasniqi in the 9th so i personally wouldn't say that hes overated. Also, i think that the eye injury happend in the fight with Lyakhovich.

I wasn’t trying to say that brewster is overrated, i was saying that brewster's performance was effected due to getting an eye injury during the fight and that even with this he was able to put Lyakhovic down.

Lyakhovich had been inactive for over a year and was coming back after a serious injury when he defeated Brewster in one of the most thrilling fights I've ever seen. He deserves full credit for his excellent performance against Brewster. It was a punch from Lyakhovich that caused Lamon's detached retina.

However, another 15 months of inactivity is bound to have affected Serguei, and so don't think he'll be sharp enough to defeat Valuev.

Sergei by decision as long as he can avoid Valuev replicating that shot Briggs KO'd him with...

Brewster was injured by a Lyakhovich punch in that fight - I thought everyone knew that. Do the "communist conks", as you call fighters from Eastern Europe, ever receive credit from you? You're consistently very negative about them, Duffgun...

Lyakhovich fought very well against Brewster, and earned some respect from most people.
