I agree Roy could have ended the fight at anytime.Tito did not look disappointed In any way as far as losing the fight was concerned.I think he had a pretty good Idea of the outcome before the fight ever started.
Of course Roy isn't the same fighter he once was...didn't we all know that? Of course not. I didn't think he looked bad. He barley laid on the ropes. The only thing he did wrong was he didn't finish Tito when he could have. I don't think its age. I think Roy doesn't take chances. He doesn't like to go for the kill like he did when was younger. I can think of Roy Jones fights in his prime where he had the guy finished and didn't knock him out.
The undercad WAS BETTER, however, than the Mayweather-Hatton card.
The first fight was pretty good, however the Golota-Mollo fight was pretty boring after mid-fight. Mollo was obviously out of shape, I think an in-shape Mollo could of stopped golota, especially after Golota's eye fell apart.
Jones-Trinidad wasn't very competitive, Jones was just toying with Trinidad the whole fight. The first three rounds were just for show, and he didn't knock him out because he felt bad or something. Meaningless fight, really uncompetitive too.
yeah, i don't get it... i actually feel i dodged a $50 bullet tonight..
the only reasonable explanation i can understand is alot of the fights had "entertaining" moments throughout them all
if you were looking for top-grade quality boxers/fighters boxing in the sport today.. you bought the wrong PPV.. simple as that
i watched the free stream because i THOUGHT this was going to be the case. But had i paid the 50 bucks i think i would have felt satisfied.
Not the best PPV card though. Pavlik-Taylor 2 is gonna be awsome. I cant wait for that, especially to see the numbers the PPV does, so we can see what kinda stars these guys are.
