Commentators thought he lacked fitness. And i think he did to. Its his age though. You can't stay a spring chicken forever.

Those lazy times in defence where he doesn't throw punches. And his failure to finish an opponent once hes hurt, playing it safe, won't help him against any top fighters.

yeah, i'm kindof astonished at some of the comments people are making.. (i.e. Jones beats Calzaghe easy)

i mean, hurray!!! From a guy watching Jones struggle in his last, how many, fights, i'm in on the RJJ cheerleading like the rest of you, but let's be realistic here

edit: and holy **** am i tired of reading "Jone's could've stopped Tito" already.. if the man could knock him out, he would have..

So you mean to tell me Jones was happy to get a decision over a knockout?? Get outta here..

It was a great set of fights. Roy Jones Jr. showed his ****y style and unleashed alot of havoc tonight. It was also nice to see Golota step up and fight with the heart he showed inthe ring tonight. He gained some respect I had lost for him for previous fights in the past. A overall good card and a great night of boxing.

Good show, overall. Two upsets, one moreso than the other. Karmazin getting SONNED was pretty nice and then Golota actually won me some money. (I swear, ANYTIME I bet involving this low blowing bastard, I win. I always win. He's great.) Jones won me some money, and some points I see. Hmmmm.. Nice night of boxing. Not worth 50 bucks, but I would have shelled out.. 25 bucks.

But hes not the same fighter he once was. Hes still a lot faster than most other guys and has good power. But alarmingly he couldn't finish Tito, who was barely throwing punches from the seventh round on wards.

                      - His age, leads to worse fitness. And he can't finish fighters.

The biggest problem i can see is he defends well but just stays in front of his opponent on the rope, for a long time. If he fights some top contender now, he will get dropped.

P.S Calzaghe will pretty much destory him. Even B-HOP would. Roy isn't the same fighter he once was. His defence is good, but he gets lazy which makes it bad. And in offence he has speed and power but lacks stamina to make his best weapons useful.

Still a good win though. I just hope he hangs up his gloves.
Nah IDK about calzaghe destroying him, calzaghe hasn't fought anybody like roy or bernard.
