Not the best PPV card though. Pavlik-Taylor 2 is gonna be awsome. I cant wait for that, especially to see the numbers the PPV does, so we can see what kinda stars these guys are.
i actually give this PPV card credit in making me seriously hyped for the Pavlik-Taylor and Marquez-Pacquiao cards coming up... can't wait!!

and i also think i'm partially hard on these kinds of cards like the one tonight because i guarentee the numbers are better for this PPV than will be the case for a card as great as the one we look to have in March in Marquez-Pacquiao 2.. and its a damn shame

Some, if not most of you guys are idiots. "Yeah, Tito should hang em up and Jones looked awesome, blah, blah, blah."

Trinidad was dropped twice but was never seriously hurt. No, he was not on the verge of being knocked out and is bull**** to say Roy could have done it but was...too nice. What?

The scorecards were very generous to Jones. IF Roy won the fight, he sc****d by by the slimest of margins. There is no way I will score a fight for a guy barely throwing punches, shaking his ass, and making faces like he is really on fire, all the while the much smaller man is circling him and landing very frequent HARD bodyshots.

Tito should jabbed more. I think it would have been less difficult for him, but Trinidad looked like he has much more left in the tank than anyone would have suspected.

Jones was boring. He seemed unable, or at best, incapable of really stopping Trinidad. In Roy's own words, if he couldn't stop Tito, He probally shouldn't be fighting anymore! A few lead rights and lot's of taunting...Wow! Let's make him P4P #1 again! Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would really like to see Trinidad in with Abraham for a belt and then maybe a showdown with Pavlik. If he stays at 168 Jeff Lacy would be a great first opponent, as would Miranda.

So Jones got the decision but let's be clear, Trinidad is far from finished unlesss he does another temporary retirement. Trinidad showed ALOT of improvement in his boxing tonight. If he could have landed more clean punches to the head, or just have been naturally bigger to begin with, I bet he would have knocked Roy out. Yep.

You must not know anything about boxing if you don't think that Roy Jones Jr. could have knocked Trinidad out at will. He's an entertainer. He loves entertaining the crowd. All that talk before the fight was hype. He doesn't like knocking people out. He will always avoid that if he can. If he thought that Trinidad was winning the fight then he would have knocked him out, but he would only do it if he really needed to.

That's why when he fights Calzaghe he probably will knock him out.

Also, the hell is wrong with you thinking it was a close fight? You obviously don't know your stuff.

You would definitely be right if Tito really wanted to be in the sport again but I doubt that is the case. This was more likely a “one and done” situation where Tito saw an opportunity to make some big money and then simply go back into retirement. I don’t blame Tito or Jones for having the fight, nor am I trying to disrespect either fighter, but nothing about this being an opportunity for a once great fighter trying to make a serious run at another championship rings true.

The old roy jones would have fininshed Tito when he had him hurt the first time.
Tito was too small and not fast enough to beat Roy. I am a Jones fan but i don't know what he could do against a Pavlik,Taylor or Galzaghe because he would have to have a much bigger punch output and couldn't just counter punch. Would love to see him get revenge on Johnson though.

RJJ knows that he can take TITO thats why hes playing around or thats his style of boxing. But, one thing i noticed his defence improve maybe b'coz of what happen to him against tarver and johnson. And he respect the power of tito.

I should have won but noone take my bet. damn!!!!

He ain't the old Roy Jones any more. But I thought we all knew that after the 3rd Tarver fight. Roy can only turn the clock back so much, I think hes done well.
