I thought it was disappointing to be honest.

forget this crap that he is too old. whats too old? 39 year old jones isn't as good as 25 jones, but so what? name a prime fighter right now, that is faster than roy jones. what 20 year old, 21 year old, 22 year old, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27.... is faster than jones right now? and his defense is absolutley amazing. only a hater will find a fault with jones after this performance.

          Roy is just too nice

Im glad he won in all.. He was obviously in a complete different league than trinidad..

But He could of easily took him out at anytime.. I just feel he was too nice in there.. but it was obvious he was having a good time..

          Great defense, lightning fast hands..

But I wish he would of KO'd tito like he eaisly could of.. but he simply chose not to..

          why im not sure..

But I just hope he fights someone like Joe C in Wales cause he knows he wont get a decision there, and will actually go for the KO..

            yeah, i don't get it... i actually feel i dodged a $50 bullet tonight..

the only reasonable explanation i can understand is alot of the fights had "entertaining" moments throughout them all

if you were looking for top-grade quality boxers/fighters boxing in the sport today.. you bought the wrong PPV.. simple as that

Very good show. It had a bit of everything. KO's, upsets, crowd pleasing, and good boxing.

Jones Too Big and Too Fast - Beats Trinidad

By Sammy Rozenberg - Most experts predicted a blowout, but a 39-year-old veteran and 35-year-old who was coming off a near three-year layoff, produced a semi-exciting fight. Roy Jones Jr. (52-4, 38 KOs) won a unanimous twelve-round decision over Felix "Tito" Trinidad (42-3, 35 KOs) at New York's Madison Square Garden.

Jones, 39, started slow and allowed Trinidad, 35, to build a minor charge on the cards, but the tempo quickly changed as the fight played out by each and every round. Trinidad performed much better than anyone could have ever expected by starting fast with the majority of his punches targeting the body of Jones. In about the sixth, the noticeable size and speed advantage of Jones began to come into play as he was pushing Trinidad back with right hands and avoiding almost every counter.

During the seventh, a short right hand to the temple caused a delayed reaction before Trinidad went down to his knees. Jones, for whatever reason, did not try hard enough to finish what appeared to be a hurt opponent. It's not clear if Jones felt Trinidad was paying possum or the Pensacola fighter was trying to conserve energy for the later rounds. [details]

Trinidad Has Not Lost A Step

Trinidad was never super fast with the legs, his hand speed his the same, his fighting style is the same, he could have never beaten wright hopkins or roy jones. Being that PAVLIK AND TAYLOR are moving up to 168, I don't see any at middleweight that TRINIDAD can't give a good fight 2. Especially with those devstating "TRINIWRAPS"
