In 2007, when P4P fighters met, there was no other fight that had a lower number when you added their ranks together.

    #4 vs. #5. I guess Mayweather-Hatton is tied.

Both had a fighter coming up for the fight, and they were both for The Ring championship.
Hopkins vs Wright was 2007's most boring fight...If I had a choice of watching paint dry or watching Hopkins vs Wright again....I would happily pull out my lawn chair and watch my paint dry.

Good... obviously excitement is very important when it comes to meaningful fights.

So Trinidad-De La Hoya didn't matter for either of their legacies because it was boring? Was it not a fight that was meaningful to boxing?

Well, what would be more meaningful, if you won a close, debatable decision against your opponent, or if you convincingly beat your opponent?

          Convincingly obviously.

Mayweather convincingly beat Baldomir... was it exciting?

There is a difference between excitement and meaningfulness in boxing. I wish some people would figure that **** out.

I know, and in my previous post I should not have said it wasn't exciting, wasn't what I meant. The Hopkins-Wright fight was close, and Hopkins didn't win in a pretty fashion in which you expect a P4P fighter to do so.

You have some damn high standards if you always expect one P4P fighter to win convincingly over another.

It was close though, and they are on the downsides of their career, so I do understand why it isn't getting votes.

Heh, well yea, P4P means the best of the best, so I expect to see a great performance. In reality, Wright was way above his natural weight class, and the fighters began to tire out in the later rounds, with not that much activity going on, yea Wright is a great name on Hopkins' resume in paper, but when you look at the other facts..
