Similar to how when Castillio came out looking abysmal against Hatton, little credit could be taken from the fight. Granted Lacy isn't shot.. he's just not very good, but all good replies more lists plse
Lacy is now **** because of Calzaghe.

    Calzaghe wrecked him.

How can he not be a credited opponent if he was an UNDEFEATED WORLD CHAMPION who knocked everybody out???

Not at that point of his career. He had lost to Collins twice and went on to lose two more times after losing to Calzaghe.

Both Collins fights were very close and the 2 losses after was against Carl Thompson at Cruiserweight which were again, very close.

              Collins fights were both close.

and after calzaghe he went up to fight at cruiserweight for the world title, when he knocked Thompson down but lost a close decision and then in the rematch got stopped because of swelling to his left eye.

The real irony here is that we may only find out how good Joe was via the next 5 or six performances of Kessler. If Kessler takes out Pavlik and or Taylor, Bute and Dawson and does it in style, that may put some doubts to bed.

You ALWAYS amaze me..lol....what does his opponents have to do with Joe's? Get at life man. Move forward. This is a thread ABOUT JOE, and no one else. Didn't I read somewhere in another thread that you were not even going to say anything about him or use his name or something?

I said until he names an opponent or sets a date, im not going to mention a retired fighter.

I listed his opponents as an example that Joe's isnt that bad( recent opposition that is ) compared to the p4p best fighter in the whole wide universe.

Have you seen that fight? Cause from the first bell Lacy was slow, plodding and without a rhythm.. This had nothing to do with Calzaghe. He looked identical in his fight with manfredo. It's not b/c calzaghe hit him or b/c cal is so fast. Lacy is muscle bound and slow.
