Chris Eubank.. WBO Only 31 and not passed his best.. as often argued
Mikkel Kessler.. WBC, WBA champ
Jeff lacy..IBF Champ.. Undeafeated and Picked by 90% of the Boxing world to CREAM Calzaghe
Robin Reid.. World Class..
Byron Mitchell/ Charles Brewer Both Former champs.. still at the op of their game..

I'm not sure Lacy's Prefight Hype make him a credited opponent.. Especially after he's been exposed as a mediocre fighter. Had he put up a decent fight in that or any of his following bouts I think he'd seem more valuable.. Similar to how when Castillio came out looking abysmal against Hatton, little credit could be taken from the fight. Granted Lacy isn't shot.. he's just not very good, but all good replies more lists plse

Pretty accurate, btw one of those women has GOT to be Butterbeans mum for sure (or Granny)!!! lol
The reason why many americans find it hard to accept Joe's resume is because most of his wins are over European fighters.
The truth is the 168 division has often had Euro fighters dominating that weight division.
Unfortunately some americans cannot accept that if you don't fight in the USA then you are no good.
Calzaghe has a solid enough resume and due to Politics has never been able to get the fights with RJJ & Bore-hard.
Let's face it those are the only other 2 names that were a threat to Joe throughout his 168 career.
And another thing is both Bore hard & RJJ fought most of that time in different weight divisions.

The "Hype" had to come from somewhere.. He wasn't so much overated.. It was Calzaghe who was grossly underated.. And There are 2 lacy's.. Pre JC.. and post JC.. The Post JC lacy is shot to hell as it stands.. The pre JC Lacy.. was Considered a World class fighter.. and was..
