This is a waste of time. Oscar coming down to 147 won't make any difference at all. Oscar wants no piece of Cotto making the excuse of his wife not wanting him to fight (whatever...).

Floyd's about the money. Him fighting Cintron, Williams, or even Margarito would be good for us boxing fans, but it wouldn't make sense for Floyd's wallet.

The biggest money fight he can take right now would undoubtedly be against Cotto. That's a no brainer.

Ok. So what would this "set-up" trilogy do for us fans?

This fight is pointless. This just furthers the point that Floyd and Oscar are greedy. Oscar out of prime wiill never beat in prime Floyd.

u do have to agree... it was a split decision... it was a close fight... if floyd blew him out of the water... id be a lot more pissed... but the fight was close, and a lot of oscars fans think he won (i dont at all) and a lot of them wanna see if he can do it again... id personally like to see floyd vs cotto but... i wont completely knock this fight

Well Oscar has a better chance than little Ricky Hatton of beating Floyd, but not as much chance as Cotto, Williams or Mosley. And don't say Floyd can't fight Shane coming off a loss, because he fought Judah, Corley, Juuko and 9 others coming off of losses.

Cotto may very well do all of this but he doesn't do any of that better than PBF so it isn't advantage for Cotto.
