you mean his legacy of two good fights. Ok 3 good fights. Against Diego Corrales his best fight, Angel Manfredy and Arturo Gatti. Oh but he's 35-0 or something so I guess if he retires he should be talked about as being on par with Marciano. Being that it's the same thing after all.

Depends... I think it might hurt his legacy. But more than a loss to Cotto? It should, but it won't. I'm not sure he cares that much about his legacy either. Why would he take this fight if he was so concerned about his legacy. How does that even make sense?

Exactly! He doesnt care about legacy, or the fans. That's why i refuse to support him.

The fight was for the taking of DLH. Especially since Floyd was so gun shy early on. If DLH popped the jab he could've pulled out a few more rounds and got a decision. I agree that the outcime would probably be the same but I didn't think the fight was that bad. I'd watch it again and I'm sure many others would.

It's not really a big deal if you don't want to see it don't watch it.

It won't hurt PBF's legacy but it won't improve it either. It actually does nothing for him as far as boxing goes besides making him more money. As a die hard PBF fan I will be disturbed by this decision because he claimed he wanted a vaction after having 3 fights in 13 months. That I can accept but if you willing to end that vaction for a fight with De la Hoya to me you never really needed that much of a vaction. Why not fight Cotto for 10-20 million and be done with it. I have no doubt in my mind that PBF can beat Cotto. Besides power IMO Cotto has no other advantage over PBF in a boxing ring.

Anyone who can't see that Floyd is going to take a dive in this fight to set up a third fight is naive and ******ed

Cotto throws combos and doesnt pop shot even when pressured. he showed this in the Mosley fight.
