Its a positive test, but who knows if that means he was using his whole career? If he was taking THG, why did he get off it for that fight? He'd have to be ******, THG is undetectable. And why would he feel like he needed steroids to fight Richard Hall? Its just hard to believe.

Roy Jones is probably the most gifted athlete you will see in any sport, he made things look easy. People said he only fought nobody's, but like he says "thats cause I make them look like Nobody's". When its all said and done, he will go down as one of the best.

      Denial

yeah cause Hall, Frazier ,Kelly were Fighter's out of the top draw in reallity Roy just made them look awfull

Thats right, floored him in the first yet eubank heard the final bell but as you correctly said Eubank had an iron chin. JC hit Lacy with absolutely everything yet he also heard the final bell. Imo Roy Jones could hit harder than Joe and i dont even class him as a puncher!

he won the Heavyweight Title yes but John Ruiz is possibly the wosrt heavyweight Champion ever , Toney beat him aswell let's not forget

Roy Dominated James Toney who is an Elite fighter ,this to date is his best win & it seem's though his legacy is based on his dominence of this fighter ,Toney proceeded to lose his next fight agaisnt a lesser oponent in Montell Griffin however

Hopkins was'nt any where near his prime when these 2 clashed u can say that Niether was Roy But Roy was a better fighter at this stage of his career than Hopkins ,different fighter's peak at different times though just look at Calzaghe his best form has come with Experience etc

To Many people read into the triple hooks Roy landed against nobody's like Bryan Brannon & the stunning KO''s ,and the way he dominated C Class fighters like Kelly ,Frazier ,Lucas,Telasco,Hall ,

all every well & good but he would'nt have played basketball before a fight had he been fighting someone of any substance & we all know that ,to many people base Roy's greatness on what he would have done to fighter's had they fought & that is plain wrong IMO

Just to repeat Roy was a great fighter i do not disagree but he was'nt as great as people make him out to be or maybe he was but one thing's for sure he did'nt prove it against the best fighter's Post Toney ,Great oponent's make u truly great IMO

BTW i dont know why people bring up Mike McCallum when they mention Roy resume ,McCallum was an old man by then do u think Roy would have done that to the McCallum that fought Mike Watson not a chance
I agree 100%. The Toney fight was in 1994, still milks it to this day.

BTW have you settled on Oscar beating Whitaker?

I think he went down best here:

nah im Calling Sweet Pea & Oscar a draw Niether man deserved to win the fight IMO & the knockdown & the point deduction just distort the scoring its a case of which fighter should be credited & which one should 'nt

              hard fight to score

Which knockout of Roy Jones was your favourite? Now thats a good question... He went to sleep both times.

I personally like the Johnson one.

By saying Roy is a steroid 'abuser' you are suggesting he routinely shot up

Right so someone tests positive once then its hard to believe they would do it again eh?

Once , twice , three times or forty times.
Doesn't matter ONCE = Steroid abuse.
I wonder why you think it is ok?
Cos Roy is a so called Legend and American?
