Ruiz was a solid fighter. People always downplay him as some journeyman. He's no Glen Johnson. He was talented and a solid fighter, and probably at his peak when Roy Jones beat him. Don't even try to take that **** away.

B-Hop was pricing himself out and would have gotten killed regardless. Never would have seen the reign that B-Hop had if those two fought. Hell, I bet it would have been the end of B-Hop's career.

      He tested positive for STEROIDS.
Whether that STeroid was deemed Illegal or not because it was UNKNOWN doesn't ALTER the FACT IT WAS A STEROID.
Look who is throwing insults around again as well.
As for fighting you .....are you some kind of ****ing idiot internet warrior?
You think I would waste my money flying to North america to beat up some Bum *****?

Basically, it's a BS article and I'm surprised moofo is exposing himself by using it. I mean seriously, the author gets his source from someone he describes as "Anthony Hall, head of doping."

          Hahahahahahahaha.

And I do have a working relationship with Dr. Goodman, I'm sure she'd get a good laugh at this too. Unless of course, she realized someone was spreading this article around like wildfire. Maybe it wouldn't be so funny.
No response for the above, moofo?

Did you fact-check this article before spreading it around like Gospel?

Is there a title called "head of doping?"

Why would Roy Jones subject himself to yearly tests by the NSAC when he barely fought in Vegas? Did they follow him around? Come to Pensacola?

Why is it that he tested positive once? What happened the other times? And why didn't he ever test positive in Nevada?

Thanks...I'll be waiting for your well-informed reply.

Ruiz sure is no Glen Johnson, Johnson was the Fighter of the Year in 2004 and became the REAL champion at LHW.

B-Hop was pricing himself out and would have gotten killed regardless. Never would have seen the reign that B-Hop had if those two fought. Hell, I bet it would have been the end of B-Hop's career.
Yeah just like B-Hop got his ass kicked in the first fight...Umm no he didn't. Prime Hopkins vs Prime Jones is a great fight and I laugh at people who say 'he would've been beaten anyway' as an excuse for not fighting someone.
Sure B-Hop 'outpriced' himself by requesting 50-50 at a time when he was the undisputed MW champion and would've gone up in weight to LHW to face Jones. It was just two ego's in the way of a great fight and you can't just blame either for it unless you're biased. I blame both.

I'm blaming Hopkins. He should have known that he wasn't getting 50-50. Jones said 60-40 which was more than fair considering Jones would be the draw. Hopkins has never been a big draw. Jones had everything to lose, Hopkins had nothing to lose and everything to gain. Keep in mind that Hopkins pretty much turtled in the first fight with RJJ, AND RJJ's right hand was broken. I can't see Hopkins making it out of the ring against a prime RJ, although, Hopkins DOES have a chin of granite.

yeah but hopkins was the MW champion... they did fight before and jones did win... but at the time they were both champions... the fight they had WAS close... roy won by a few rounds... it shoulda been 50-50 IMO
