U wanna talk about disgrace? Disgrace is Fishnet Delahoya scheduling a fight with Steve "2 pound" Forbes. You have a guy who has fought at 160, looking for a fight with a natural JWW. At least Cotto is facing someone within his own weight-class.

Seriously, this **** is really bothering me. To me, it almost ****s up the entire momentum of another great following year in boxing. We have WWs running from each other and opting to fight former Contender stars called Alfonso Gomez instead of fighting each other (That means no Cotto-Williams).

Anybody looking to defend this deserves, imo, to be banned from watching boxing.

Yeah it really is. And the worst part about it is there are some Mexicans out there who really think Gomez is tough enough to give Cotto a good fight. I mean WE as Mexicans need to be smarter than this. They can't feed us crap like an Alfonso Gomez fight against Miguel Cotto. This is ridiculous. This is why boxing has become so nationalistic and people can't admit that fighters of other races and nationalities can be the best.

People want to get mad at Bernard Hopkins for talking about race and then many of those same people want to believe that Cotto-Gomez is going to be a good fight because Gomez is a "tough" Mexican warrior. It's ****** and kind of hypocritical.

lol actually I thought about that fight.

I think Forbes is a much more live body than everyone is giving him credit for. I mean Oscar has seen better days and Forbes is bitter about the robbery losses etc.
