They weren't competitive with Floyd, but very competitive with those they fought prior, and they are not much older than Floyd, like I said.

What does the cop emocon mean btw? It's rather silly.

First of all, blame Cotto. He's Arum's boss. It shouldn't be the other way around. But you're right in the sense that Cotto isn't going to take a tough opponent now and risk the pay day he would have coming with either Mayweather/De La Hoya.

no, they werent even better then Gomez when Floyd fought them. you can make a argument for Baldo, but not Shot Bay or Gatti..

the cop emocon means im A peace maker and come in peace and I dont want to fight so im smiling, but im a smiling cop, means I m the law and what I say goes. errrrr.

I don't admit anything. Corrales, Castillo, and Hernandez were all prime and the best fighters of this era IN THEIR DIVISIONS, and Oscar is among the best of this era, period. Hatton is the best at 140, and Sugar Ray Leonard seems to agree with me, and so does Hopkins, Mosley and DLH (watch the Mayweather-Hatton post presser)..

No one WANTS to see Cotto fight Gomez, the boxing writers called for Floyd to fight Baldy, who is 20 times better than Gomez and anybody he's faced. Also Mitchell wasn't so shot that he couldn't beat Cruz right after, so you people are just desperate to discredit, knowing that Floyd has defeated at least 12 former and curent world champions and 5 weight classes in 18 title fights, while beating some of the best in his era..

What does Gomez have to do with anything? Sure he's not too hot but neither are those guys Floyd fought. Is that why you cut out the rest of my post?

Should we give William Joppy credit for stopping Roberto Duran too? Please...Sharmba Mitchell was FINISHED. Hold your fighters to higher standards...
