Wladimir Klitschko Vs. Ray Austin - Any Credit?

I haven't talked about my boy Wlad much lately.. so here it is!

In the past, there were complaints that Wlad doesn't face the best competition out there..
Wlad is unifying with Sultan, etc.. and it's water under the bridge..

The reason I started this thread is to give Wlad credit and to give him recognition for being such a superior fighter.

He completely destroyed a man who drew with Ibragimov and destroed him within 4.5 minutes.
But what's really impressive is that it was done really single-handedly!
What other fighter can demostrate such domination?

    Bravo!

Ray Austin is just big. Sultan came overweight against him and paid for it.

It was impressive how Wladimir handled him without using his right after Austin called him a 'one trick pony' and accused him of only having power in the right. Owned.

I've seen better fighters owned even worse though. Atleast he survived two rounds and could've gotten up if he wanted to.

Foreman bludgeoned Frazier in two and dropped him several times.
Johansson knocked Patterson down SEVEN times.

He deserves credit for handling an easy title defense easily. That certainly has to be better than struggling with someone you should beat easily. If Wlad had ducked someone to fight Austin that would have been different, but he was forced to fight him by the IBF, and by humiliating him made the IBF look bad instead of himself. And despite what incompetent American reporters like Tim Smith said, Austin wasn't nearly the worst fighter to challenge for the heavyweight title. Anyone that disagrees can look up Joe Roman or Terry Daniels among others.

I thought Wlad was just showing his brother how to win a fight with one hand till I saw the interview with Austin where he said Wlad was just a right hand. How many tripple left hooks do you see heavyweights throwing like that? Especially BIG heavies.

Wlad owned Austin big time...Austin talked all that trash before the fight and disrespected Wlad, Wlad just kept his cool and said he would let his fists do the talking in the ring.

I have never seen Wlad look so angry at fight time, he had a nasty snarl on his face throughout the entrance, anthems and straredown, you could see that Austin was intimidated and scared.

Like Wlad said, he let his fists do the talking in the ring and KO'd Austin with 1 hand in 2 rounds, the triple left hook was a thing of beauty.

I thought it was 4... 4th already missed.. but he threw 4 in a blink of an eye...

Real time, Lampley only was able to count two (if you watch the fight).. and it was not until the slow-motion replay...

Austin was seriously humiliated. All the talk about how he has it tough in the ****** and how Wladimir has no heart and how he only has a right hand blah blah...

Then he gets knocked down without a single right hand being thrown by Wladimir and refuses to get up. Hilarious.

I mean it was a good show and all, but lets not confuse Ray Austin as a legit title contender.
