He was only 32 when he fought Foreman and only 36 when he LOST to a fighter with only 6 professional fights! (Leon)
He was totally done by 1980 against Holmes when he was only 38!

    Remember

AFTER the same age (38) Holmes had 25 MORE pro fights!!
    Including wins over
    Mercer,Ribalta,
and 12 round decision losses to Evander and Oliver McCall

Evander has had 12 fights past 38! and he's still going!

Foreman STARTED his comeback at age 38! and had 34 MORE fights after that!
    Ali was a joke!

Ya ya..I suppose I'll be banned now! How dare I say anything negative about the "GREATEST"
Only? Dude, back then, being in your 30s and being considered prime was very rare.

His recent opposition is not good enough for me to say that he has suddenly improved and become a whole new fighter. I think he smokes through Sultan and shows that he is a completely new fighter but lets see it.

The Austin's and Brewster's of the world don't impress me.

And mr. landmine you are completely ignorant about Ali's career. He fought the best heavyweights of all time in wars (most FOTY's of all fighters) and had years taken off his career (the Vietnam thing you know). That will take a toll on you. Umm... and also his Parkinson's disease.

People were saying Ali should retire when he was 31. More often than not boxers are past their best when they are over 30 years old.

Wlad's is more powerful than all (but maybe Liston), and he throws it from more angles, faster, he throws more kinds of jab than all of them.

This isn't even close. He's not a better all around fighter than the others, but he throws all the punches better, especially the jab. And it's not close in the other cases either.
