I agree Foreman's jab was devastating, but like you said he would go long periods without throwing it. When he did use it he became very difficult to beat. But George knew he had awesome power and often went for the home run.

      ALI outsmarted George

George didn't jab against Ali cuz ALI just lay on the ropes and let George pound on him.

      Short term result

was a win over an exhausted Foreman

      Long term results
George makes $350 million on the Grilling machine and is a respected and loved American Icon and a household name.

      Ali is.......a vegetable

That is just so completely wrong that I should choose to ignore it.

Ali is brain damaged yes but that's because he fought years past his prime and took hits from the hardest punchers ever and not only from Foreman but Liston, Shavers, Frazier and Lyle. Boxing fans appreciate his courage.

Also Foreman became all that not because he lost to Ali but because he came back as an older man and started respecting other people, something he hadn't done prior to the loss at the hands of Ali.

He made some good business choices as well.

I agree, as far as I know Ali still has most of his faculties, Parkinson's is what is affecting his speech and motor functions. Michael J Fox never boxed and is pretty bad off from the same condition.

The thing with Ali is that the Parkinson's started when he was in his late 30's. His boxing career probably contributed to that but I think he would have it even if he hadn't boxed, just at a much later age, not sure.

I'm just teasing, but for arguments sake, like most of those people in that list, doesn't Wlad rely almost solely on his jab? Also, take note that he has lost the least rounds in his entire career in that list. Which means he must have been doing something right with his jab.
