Anyways, I pick liston on sheer power....I heard he KOed sumone with a jab before. Other than that the best all around jab is holmes, power, speed, and accuracy.

^^agreed. But were comparing him to all time greats. He also won the most rounds cause he didn't go trough the competition the others did.

As far as I know it's genetic, so yeah probably was brought on early, but he still would have gotten it. MJ Fox was in his 30s I think and I have a friend that is 38 who has it.

Anyway, as far as the thread goes, I'd have to go with Holmes. He didn't have Liston's ferocity and power, or Ali's speed and agility, what he did have was one wicked jab. Klit has a good jab and he seems to be getting better with age, like Lewis did. So let's ask this question again in about 4 years. For now, it has to be Holmes.

But the opposition isn't comparable. I'm sure anyone with a decent jab and height would outjab Ray Austin and Brewster. What known jabbers has Wladimir outjabbed? Chris Byrd might be the best.

I think Wladimir has a good jab but I need to see more of him.

Yea I agree, I picked Holmes as the choice, but what I'm saying is I think Wlad belongs up there with those guys as to who has the best jab. He has a pretty good resume, not as Ali or Holmes, but he's been fighting the best out there and he can't really help that.

I don't think he belongs in there just yet. Maybe in a few years if he unifies the world titles and dominates the division.

But he could get knocked out in his next fight for all we know and no one would bring him up in threads like this.

Meh, I really think that " Wlad can always get KO'd" thing is getting old. He's now like he was before, if you noticed in his previous fights, he's improved drastically, even Lewis said, the way Wlad is fighting now, his chin isn't much of a factor.

ALI has TRAUMA INDUCED parkinsons TOTALLY different from what fox has.
It is the result of POOR decisions like fighting past his prime, being OUT OF SHAPE! and lazy laying on the ropes against big punchers. Don't forget ALI faded fast in his career.
He was only 32 when he fought Foreman and only 36 when he LOST to a fighter with only 6 professional fights! (Leon)
He was totally done by 1980 against Holmes when he was only 38!

                    Remember

AFTER the same age (38) Holmes had 25 MORE pro fights!!
                    Including wins over
                    Mercer,Ribalta,
and 12 round decision losses to Evander and Oliver McCall

Evander has had 12 fights past 38! and he's still going!

Foreman STARTED his comeback at age 38! and had 34 MORE fights after that!
                    Ali was a joke!

Ya ya..I suppose I'll be banned now! How dare I say anything negative about the "GREATEST"

I picked Holmes. I was watching the Tex Cobb fight a few weeks ago and he basically won the fight with the jab. Cobb was kept at a distance the whole fight and didn't have a chance at getting to Holmes. I know Cobb wasn't that good but it was pretty impressive by Holmes.
