People rate Hopkins win over Winky high. And people say Winky's loss was because of not regularily fighting at that weight. Which holds merit. Yet people argue this and still have Hopkins and Winky high up the P4P list.

    Confusing myself now.
Because, those people are idiots. Hopkins win was meaningless. Wrights keeping the fights razor thin with all of the cards against him was much more impressive.

you cant discredit winky for going up 20lbs and fighting hopkins to almost a damn near draw. Winky has always looked for the big fights, but fighters tend to not want to fight him so that's why he dont have alot of big names on his resume. but he did beat mosley twice, dominated trinidad even more then hopkins did de la hoya wont fight him, faught taylor damn well. winky at 154 is unbeatable and definetly deserving of p4p rankings. Winky is probably one of the most avoided fighters of our time

I agree with a lot of that.

Winky doesn't beat Kessler at 168 ever, EVER.

Uh oh, I think Sturm Rules is back. I dont see Kessler or Sturm beating him. Calzaghe might out hustle him for a decision because he would be more active... Winky's a great boxer regardless. I think he just needs to learn how to take a loss/draw instead of bitching about it for months.

But P4P = Fighters that would win at any division

I can name a lot that would beat him, Pavlik, Abraham, Sturm, Kessler, Calzaghe, Bute, Mundine, Hopkins(he did)

Winky is good. But hes not as great as everyone says, anymore. Hes past his best. Sure he was high up P4P ranks before. But now hes past his prime.

              - P4P rankings are inaccurate. By the end of 2008, we will realise this and the P4P list will be totally changed, except with Floyd 1st and Joe C 2nd. The other spots in the top 20 will be big changers.
I don't think Winky is P4P right now but you've got the concept of P4P wrong. P4P is the idea that if Winky was say over 200 pounds and taller than he is now with his fighting style then how would he fair against the big men.
