How does wright make the pound for pound top 10?

Sure Winky has done some great things over his career, and he is a moden star of the sport.

But P4P = Fighters that would win at any division

I can name a lot that would beat him, Pavlik, Abraham, Sturm, Kessler, Calzaghe, Bute, Mundine, Hopkins(he did)

Winky is good. But hes not as great as everyone says, anymore. Hes past his best. Sure he was high up P4P ranks before. But now hes past his prime.

    - P4P rankings are inaccurate. By the end of 2008, we will realise this and the P4P list will be totally changed, except with Floyd 1st and Joe C 2nd. The other spots in the top 20 will be big changers.

I think Winky May have another fight left in the tank and I agree there are a lot of young Lions that may just eat him at this point, however I think Bernard Hopkins, Oscar De La Hoya and Ricky Hatton are the three Top P4P Fighters in the World without Titles and I'd give Winky at least a Shot at beating Oscar. Where as the young Lions still have to eat up the Old Legends to claim their spots on my P4P list anyways... Much like Pavlik would need to beat BHop to move up, not to say it couldn't happen 'cause it very easily might...

Come on mate. Saying Kessler won't as an American bias. Winky isn't powerful enough to stop Kess. Hes going to take some big blows. And eventually Kess will land.

Wright dominated Trinidad, which moved him up to #2.

                Then he beat Soliman.

Then he drew (if that's what you call that) with Taylor.

                Then he dominated Quartey.

Finally, he loses a razor thin decision to Hopkins (who also is a P4P elite).

How do you knock him from #3 to completely off the list for losing a razor thin decision to another P4P elite?

I think the problem is, well not really a problem just a bias. Fighters like Winky are American so have a tendency to be slightly over rated by Americans, the major boxing public.

Where good fighters like Kess, Bute, Abraham, Sturm, Mundine, no one gives a **** about them because there not American. But all those names give Winky a hard fight. And i seriously think kess will not start favourite, but has the chance to stop winky but most likely winky will win by ud. I think Abraham could possibly stop Winky, but most likely winky UD. I do favour Mundine to get a UD over winky. He is technically brilliant, and i rate his defence better than Winkys.

Sure Winky starts favourite and wins most if not all of the above names by UD. But my statement is these guys could possibly beat him, not likely but possibly would. And there under rated on the P4P system. I rate Winky 13th on my P4P.
