          past prime - De La Hoya

          He will never face a prime, world-class welterweight like Cotto, or even Williams or Cintron, because he's not 100% sure he would defeat them!

          Calzaghe faced and defeated the best prime, undefeated, world-class super middleweight in Mikkel Kessler. Why won't Floyd fight Cotto?
          im not agreeing.. but makes some good points about floyds oppononts.. sometimes seems to pick the easier fight for him, but picks one that he still gains big credibility on..... Kinda saw the outcome against hatton coming after I saw Collazo outbox hatton..

            I can't think of a name that draws that doesn't "pick" his opponents.

            Draws = money.

            Money = everyone lining up to fight the draw.

            Oscar De La Hoya "picked" his opponents too.

            Winky Wright is about the only big name that I can think of that hasn't "picked" his opponents. He fought what was given to him, and not out of choice, but out of necessity.

              you guys hate floyd so much you guys find any little thing to try to put him down with. Reminds me of when i use to hear people saying michael jordan was overrated lmao. You guys wont be happy untill floyd time warps into history and fights all the legends then comes back and fights cotto, margarito, and paul all on the same night. cotto will get rounds 1-4, marg would get 5-8, and paul will get 8-12 then maybe you guys will be happy.....................................but i doubt it.
