Mayweather easily decisions Cotto. The plodding slugger version of Cotto got stunned by Judah early. Mayweather is probably a slower starter than Judah but the feeling here is that Mayweathers stings will hurt a lot more than Judah's and Mayweather is a terrific finisher when he hurts a guy. As mentioned previsouly in this thread though Cotto is a lot smarter than just some plodding slugger, so it stands to reason Cotto wouldn't take the careless chances and expose himself to Floyd the way he did to Judah.

For the fight to last Cotto needs to land a haymaker early or some manner of lucky shot to get Floyd's attention before round 5 or it will be a public blood-letting. "Pretty Boy" Floyd would become Floyd the butcher and cut up Cotto something awful. Asuming Cotto lands early and gets Floyds respect it will go all 12 with little drama in a one sided boxing clinic, W12 Mayweather

Why are people writing Cotto off? Are you trying to plant the seeds of you demanding a bout with Williams even after Floyd faces Cotto. I can already seeing it in the making.

Mayweathers punches are faster than Cotto's.

Judah buzzed Cotto and had him on ***** street.

                therefore "his chin is questionable".

                I could go on...
So therefore your also saying Mayweathers chin is questionable too cos Judah dropped Mayweather. You couldnt make a point with an arrow.

Cotto is a very difficult fight for anybody and I hope he whoops PBF

How would he fair against someone with a good jab.

Cotto seems to be the easier option, he is too slow, has a questionable chin and would get UD'd or KO'd.

Alot of people see Cotto as the danger man at Welterweight. I think Williams and Cintron are more dangerous.
I'm a Mayweather fan but he would either have to stick and move the whole fight against Cotto (and lose by decison) or stand and trade (and lose by KO). And it isn't that Cotto is the better boxer (no one in the game right now is a better boxer than Mayweather) it's because Cotto is a MUCH better fighter than Mayweather. He is too big, too strong and hits way too far for Mayweather, plus his boxing skills are top notch.

Mayweather is smart and knows this. hence, the fight will never happen.

Cotto's win against Judah was impressive. He was in trouble and lowblowed Judah which I though a good strategy to take Judah out of his gameplan.

I not saying it legital thing to do but it was a good stratgey even if the ref took one point from Cotto. Judah is not focused fighter at all so the lowblow will take him whole out of his gameplan.

For people who say well it lowblow and blah blah blah. I would say anything to do to win. Judah didnt have the mental capablitiy to go on through the fight he got 10 or 20 sec of a super performance in a rough intell Cotto comes and control the more than 2:00 of every round.
