HELL NO. don't ever look at win/loss records when judging a fighter. Watch the fights and study the fighter carefully and thats all that should matter.
Where does Calzaghe rank in comparison to the list of your favourite fighters you have going on there?

A win loss record provides an indication though. Bernard Hopkins has 48 wins, Tony Booth has 50 wins. Which one is the better fighter? I reckon it's the one who doesn't have 103 losses...

        Tony Booth would batter Hopkins.

                Reid deserved this decision...

Before this fight Reid lost his title to thulani malinga..

Reid was highly competiive with Joe and many think he won.

                Jones Completely Dominated Malinga..

Benn even lost to a 41 year old malinga lol..

I guess Joe should be happy he never met up with Roy back in his 168 days..

would of been a complete mismatch..

my favorites isn't a ranking list just to make that clear. and he wouldn't be on my top 40 if I had to make a list. but he would be better ranked in my favorites than hopkins even though I think hopkins is much better. I don't like the way calzaghe fights. he throws weird punches with the palms of his gloves. It doesn't impress me. and Hopkins fights are usually boring to watch cuz he is overly defensive. But he does have power when he wants to use it and his defense gets the wins.

George Foreman dominated Joe Frazier and Ali beat George Foreman....blah blah blah....
When Joe fought Reid he was a Very good fighter who had held the WBC title.
He would have held the WBA&IBF titles had he not been robbed against Sven Ottke.
He wasn't the washed up fighter that faced Jeff Lacy 6 years later who had only fought once in each of the 2 years prior.
You must be young or ignorant not to understand any of this.
                      I'll guess at both.
If you are not young then that's even worse.
