Quite a few valid points here, at the end of day, Hatton prolly wont fight witter next, to be honest, he has been making excuses about this for years, the reality is witter deserves the fight with hatton after hatton has lost, it would be a huge domestic grudge match which would do numbers in the UK, it makes more sense than Hatton getting his career ended by De La Hoya as well.

I doubt hatton is the same fighter after mayweather beat him up.

Thats the thing that gets on my nerves, We (And i meant boxing fans not just Hatton fans with tinted rose glass on) have been harping on about this fight for ages while Frank warren was reluctant in risking hatton against Witter but since he left Warren the excuses has been the same..I dont mind in fighting the Mayweather's of this world for great payday more power to him but when you make silly fights and try selling it to us as genuine fight then you're trying to insult our intelligence, Witter worked his way up just like Hatton did to be the number one guy when he beat tsyzu and now he seem to be making all the excuses in the world for him to refuse to defend his title against the number one guy in the division.

He has a lot of fans so that helps, When PBF doesnt fight Margarito then we have people that call themselves boxing harping on about it..but if its there favourite fighter then they come out with ******ed statements like "Maybe if you hadn't been such a prick to Ricky in the past, he would throw a couple mill your way" which shows how in their boxing brains work.

I don't have the video, but I believe it was when Ricky won the Commonwealth belt, and after Witter starts running his trap, instead of giving Ricky credit and letting him enjoy his win. Karmas a b!tch, Junior. You could have made many times what you will make in your whole career combined, in one fight with Ricky. But you're a jerk, so you won't. Lucky for you, guys like Cotto and Floyd moved up to WW, so you might be able to hold on to your trinket for a little while, though I doubt it.
