Losing to Mayweather isnt a risk on Hatton's part..Losing to a fighter with no fans and a fighter he openly ducked for years would effectively kill off his career, Especially with his blinded fans who can see the man do no wrong.

Because they're looking for excuses to back their hero(Hatton), The facts are Witter is the number one contender on any major ranking bodies in boxing at 140, And Hatton hasnt beaten anyone at 140 since he beat Tsyzu...Maussa..uTango..and a shot castillo.

You know you're right. Hatton was always the bigger draw than Witter which is why Witter was always calling him out. WHen Hatton was winning the British title and building up his reputation Witter was shooting his mouth off... Quite a few valid points here, at the end of day, Hatton prolly wont fight witter next, to be honest, he has been making excuses about this for years, the reality is witter deserves the fight with hatton after hatton has lost, it would be a huge domestic grudge match which would do numbers in the UK, it makes more sense than Hatton getting his career ended by De La Hoya as well.
