I think Paul Williams weight drained..he looked..weak..lthargic and tired.........

Quintana got the better of him that night..its one loss....not 10 losses.

Ive drawn the conclusion that Paul Williams will have a bad night against ANY south paw...Mitchell gave him trouble and Quitana beat him.

    Paul Williams will be back.

He has no business at Welter.....for the opposite of reason to Hatton.

These Welters have being getting bigger and bigger.

Marg, Williams, Cintron and even Collazo.....are just plain massive.

I definetly want to see Williams at 154....7 pounds makes a BIG Difference just ask Cotto and Hatton.

The problem is, can he get respect on his punches at 154? He punches as light as they come at 147!

Thats because he doesnt SIT on his punches..its a shame that a GOOD trainer hasnt told Williams that especially due to his lack of ametuer expirience....Other then that I do believe Williams has pop.

I still don't think he can ****. I just don't see how he has enough muscle mass when bone and whatever else makes up his giant, skinny-ass figure takes up so much of his body weight. He may be able to hit harder than he shows, but power will probably always be his weakest area... especially if he ever improves his defense.

I think Williams is pretty much through. Most of the guys he faced at Welter were a little overawed by his size until he fought Margarito who seemed unintimidated, As soon as he showed signs of weakness his next fight (against a guy he was supposed to walk through) ended in disaster and any half decent welterweight will get the same result. Margarito to clean his clock should they have a rematch.

If Paul Williams had any power he would be a hard man to beat. But Quintana exposed him and Cotto would just destroy him. Face it, he is just a big run of the mill fighter that uses his freakishly long arms to keep people at bay.
