Do we really have to go through all of the fighters that had losses and was among the best pound for pound? Bernard Hopkins was 46-2 when he was pound for pound #1. Glen Johnson was top 10 pound for pound after he beat Jones and he had a journeyman like resume. Tarver was also top 10 pound for pound after the 2 wins over Jones and he lost to Harding in his 16th professional fight. This is only a learning experience for Willams and he will take that and become a better fighter. Was he embarrased? no. was he knocked out? no. what he even out on his feet? No he wasn't. Stop the BS and quit acting like this is the end of this mans career when it is not. He has not even reached his true prime yet and people are already counting him out. He could still very well become among the best in the sport and champion.

He offered Marg a rematch....Marg ran scared.
Sooner or later people are going to have to fight him.
He will clean up the 147 and 154 divisions....and be the King of the Sport for a very long time.

Anyone who proclaimed Paul's greatness was utterly premature and completely off base. And considering he spent two thirds of a fight being outclassed and outboxed by a second tier fighter (who is solid but, hey, he's second tier) I think that any further proclamations of greatness are even sillier.
The notion that Williams would dominate all the way up to 168 lbs is the craziest notion I ever heard. He might be able to be ranked top two or three at 154 lbs (because of the lack of talent there rather than because of his ability) but every single top ten fighter at 160 lbs destroys him within three, and he'd be competitive at 168 lbs just as soon as I go on holiday to Alpha Centauri.
I've been saying that P-Will was overrated since he fought Mitchell.
