Did Mayweather ruin Hatton's HoF chances?

Calzaghe is ****ING TRASH. He is trying to get a piece of B-Hop's Legacy!! He beat Kessler and Lacy. That does get anyone in the HOF let alone the P4P list. Joan Guzman beat Barriors and Humberto!! You think Calzaghe beating Kessler and Lacy is any better then that???
Calzaghe will be known as that bum who beat bums and tried to take a bite out of an Old B-Hop's LEGACY.
Thats what he will be known as!!Comment

Gatti will get in the hall of 'fame' because he became famous.
Hatton will too, eventually. He's a world champ, has made big money, and can probably be considered a national hero.Comment

DIOS HATERS TAKE NOTE:
I have always given Hatton credit. In January of 2006, he was offered the Mayweather fight. This was after SuperJudah lost and Floyd was looking for an opponent for that April 8th PPV date. Ricky said he wasn't ready, and that he needed 2 or 3 fights before getting to Mayweather.
What did Hatton do? He took three fights, and then called out Mayweather. Exactly like he said he would.
I give him credit for that. Ballsy. Idiotic, but ballsy.
I forgive (and overlook for) him asking for the same 2 or 3 fights back in 2004.Comment

Bit of everything really, Even though a lot people see Witter and Malignaggi giving Hatton problems at 140, i think Hatton beats them both and everyone else at 140. No names.
Ricky Hatton well be remembered more for being popular with the fans i.e one of the lads, and having huge support following him to fights rather then his abilities as a boxer in the ring.
HOF material, i ain't sure?Comment

I dont see Ricky making the Hall of Fame. He would need to go down to 140, unify the division, then dominate for a few years against top opposition.
I dont think there is enough talent out there at 140 with the current champs/contenders for him to pick up the quality wins he would need.
I would also imagine there would be quite a few in line before him.Comment
