He needs a few more big wins to get in the HOF.
Did Mayweather ruin Hatton's HoF chances?

Then he would have beaten the top two prime guys: Malignaggi and Witter. And two past-prime guys : Tszyu and Castillo.
I could support that, BUT Junior Witter is now 33/34. Ricky can't wait a year and a half. Do it SOON.Comment

I was back watching some old Trinidad tapes and reading some old Trinidad stuff. I remember Tito boasting about "three Gold Medals". Meaning that he had defeated three former Olympic champions. Actually, he said "thee gole meyta".
Note: David Reid, Pernell Whitaker, Oscar Delahoya.
So I compared that to PBF saying that he beat the best in his era. Floyd has probably beaten only one Hall of Famer (Oscar Delahoya). Castillo, Corrales, and Genaro are iffy. Hatton has been mentioned as a potential HoFer, but I think that may be off the table now.
AFTER THE KO LOSS TO MAYWEATHER, IS RICKY HATTON A HALL OF FAMER?
wow a respectable thread by dios ??
n e way .....if hatton would have one then yes ..but in the fashion he lost i dont think so ... maybe with a win over malinaggi and witter ..does anyone think kosta tazu (sp?) is hall of fame material ? i dont know much ab him ...cuz if he is than that would increase hattons chancesComment

Just a quick note about the HoF (and this should probably be its own thread)...
LOCK:
Mayweather
Jones
Hopkins
Delahoya
Toney
Holyfield
Barrera
Morales
Lewis
Tyson
etc
PROBABLE:
Pacquiao
Calzaghe
Mosley
Trinidad
Wright
etc
MAYBE:
Hatton
Marquez x 2
Castillo
Corrales
Tszyu
etc
If you took the dozen or so "locks", and added in even half the probables and maybes, that is A LOT of guys. More than we have ever inducted from any previous era.
ARE WE BEING TOO GENEROUS... OR WILL THEY REALLY INDUCT THAT MANY GUYS?Comment

Not really, I don't see a Hatton running from Cotto with BS excuses. I think Mayweather is the most nervous "champ" in history.I was back watching some old Trinidad tapes and reading some old Trinidad stuff. I remember Tito boasting about "three Gold Medals". Meaning that he had defeated three former Olympic champions. Actually, he said "thee gole meyta".
