He needs a few more big wins to get in the HOF.

Who would secure it? Wins over what reasonably available opponents?

If he was to beat Witter and Paulie I would put him in the HOF.

Then he would have beaten the top two prime guys: Malignaggi and Witter. And two past-prime guys : Tszyu and Castillo.

I could support that, BUT Junior Witter is now 33/34. Ricky can't wait a year and a half. Do it SOON.

So I compared that to PBF saying that he beat the best in his era. Floyd has probably beaten only one Hall of Famer (Oscar Delahoya). Castillo, Corrales, and Genaro are iffy. Hatton has been mentioned as a potential HoFer, but I think that may be off the table now.

AFTER THE KO LOSS TO MAYWEATHER, IS RICKY HATTON A HALL OF FAMER?

wow a respectable thread by dios ??

n e way .....if hatton would have one then yes ..but in the fashion he lost i dont think so ... maybe with a win over malinaggi and witter ..does anyone think kosta tazu (sp?) is hall of fame material ? i dont know much ab him ...cuz if he is than that would increase hattons chances

Just a quick note about the HoF (and this should probably be its own thread)...

                  LOCK:

                  Mayweather
                  Jones
                  Hopkins
                  Delahoya
                  Toney
                  Holyfield
                  Barrera
                  Morales
                  Lewis
                  Tyson
                  etc

                  PROBABLE:

                  Pacquiao
                  Calzaghe
                  Mosley
                  Trinidad
                  Wright
                  etc

                  MAYBE:

                  Hatton
                  Marquez x 2
                  Castillo
                  Corrales
                  Tszyu
                  etc

If you took the dozen or so "locks", and added in even half the probables and maybes, that is A LOT of guys. More than we have ever inducted from any previous era.

ARE WE BEING TOO GENEROUS... OR WILL THEY REALLY INDUCT THAT MANY GUYS?

Tszyu's probable. Pac and Trinidad are locks.

Not really, I don't see a Hatton running from Cotto with BS excuses. I think Mayweather is the most nervous "champ" in history.
