Is the heavy-weight division dead?

to be honest im british and its not hard to see most of the heavywieght contenders and champs are all blown up even wlad but it seems wlad is the only guy that actually trys to use some skills instead of sluggin and hoping to hit.
This is the worse heavywieght era in my opinion and alot of people feel that way not because of fat calvin brock or bruster losing but because of lack of talent.Comment

.......In the next year or two this may turn out to be the deepest and most talented heavyweight division in history. Tons of skilled guys that are just bursting on the scene and the old guard is going away. No more Tyson, Toney, Byrd, Goofy Whitaker, old Holy, Mercer, etc. etc.Comment

The division still needs to get rid of guys like Rahman, Maskaev and Vitali. Golota is looking for a title shot too.
I think Holyfield, Toney and Byrd are done but there are still some old guys in the top 10.
I have no problem with old boxers but when they are at the top of the division it doesn't speak well for that particular era.Comment

So what's the top 10 (more or less) most talented fighters in the New Heavyweight Guard?
And put a * next to any name that is exciting/skilled to watch.Last edited by Benny Leonard; 12-28-2007, 06:47 AM.Comment
