shane turned that down, then proceeded to get a toothache/family ache in 2006, we should have been seeing shane vs mayweather instead of baldomir vs mayweather. that **** is 100 percent on shane. I could understand why shane ducked back at 135, mayweather was just some no-name ****head, but now, mayweather is a big name ****head, he had no viable excuse not to fight mayweather when he had the chance.

and people have the ****ing ****** nerve to put it on floyd.

Corrales has a shorter arm reach then Floyd..

P Williasm has like 10'...from hand to hand over Floyd.

It is on Floyd... Shane offered to fight Floyd earlier this year after the Dela fight. Floyd said he was retired unless Dela wanted a rematch. Then Floyd decided to fight Hatton WHO TURNED HIM DOWN THREE YEARS AGO..

Floyd had a choice Hatton or SSM. HE chose HATTON and SSm being the fighter he is fought Cotto.

        get your facts straight.

That is why he hasn't fought.. Cotto,Margarito,Mosley

Williams has perhaps become the most overated boxer in the sport...

He would lose 100/100 fights with Floyd..
Williams hype came big when he turned off Margarito hype.

Mosely is old and floyd been calling him for long time.

Cotto, only time is going to tell.

contracts for fight doesnt happen in an instant it need time and negotation it not like you go to a supermarket or ebay to make fights happen.

anyway when is Cotto's contract with Arum finishs?

True, but that didn't really matter during that fight since Corrales barely threw any punches. Mayweather does kind of have freakishly long arms for his height it seems. I also made mention of the reach advantage for Williams over Mayweather so I'm not sure what your point is...and I'm not trying to be a **** when I say that, just trying to understand where you are coming from.

Kinda stinks for Cotto, I think since Mayweather won so decivily this past fight he's definitly going to wait awhile. If he beat Hatton by a close UD, then there would be more Media backlash telling him he's not as great of a fighter then he is. I think Cotto & Williams have a chance to beat Mayweather, better then anyone else. I'd love to see one of those fights. I guess only time will tell though. A couple more big wins for one of those, name calling, and media interest will bring Flyod out of his BS reitrment.

Mayweather's best skill is defense also Williams' punches aren't all that accurate, how will throwing a lot of punches beat him when he just slips the shots and stays on his body. You can say all you want about Williams' reach, but I believe Floyd's speed will have him punching air. Mayweather is good at luring you in and countering your shots and if Williams were to ever fight him he'd do just that. He backs up into a corner, slips your shots and counters effectively.

I don't understand why you're comparing Williams with Corrales being taller fighters, ofcourse he does better against taller fighters, height is hardly an advantage without the proper skill and reach, so you're basically stating the obvious. Also Corrales did throw punches, he just didn't land them.

Not trying to attack you, I'm just a bit annoyed by this Williams hype. This guy hasn't fought anyone except for Margarito, he's not a very big name so ofcourse no one is going to fight him, he's hardly an established champion. He also doesn't seem very skilled the way he was just throwing at Margarito, a fighter like that is easy to adapt to by technically smarter fighters. All he has going for him is his belt and his freakish length for a WW, to me he's just a fighter ready to be exposed

i was just mentioning it. not everyone knows that. they just bring up Corrales as being "bigger" as a disadvantage to Floyd but really the only advantage Chico had was being taller, which isnt much if you got shorter arms.

                    that's all

By beating Oscar de la Hoya, then calling out Floyd publically and mooning him in the middle of the ring.
