    How can Cotto Trick the weasel into signing?

    By using the same strategy Hatton did. After his next fight on HBO Cotto has to insult and mock weaselweather with vicious emnity. So Floyd can call Ellerbe up and say "Make the ******* fight"

    If Cotto does this and Floyd keeps hiding in his hiatus, all the floyd fools will have to admit the truth - Floyd is a hanp****er who only picks old, slow, small or outmatched competition who he knows he will beat, but ducks all dangerous threats who can KO him.

    Cotto is still not the guy who will beat Floyd.....it's all Williams. That's the guy Cotto needs to beat to get Mayweather's attention seeing as how he is best opposition next to Floyd. Williams has already called Cotto out....that's the fight that needs to be made, not Margarito or anyone else.

      Come on.....anyone who thinks PBF took the fight because of that pathetic comment from Hatton is fooling themself. PBF took the fight because it was guarenteed big money and that's all. Forget what his camp might have you believe, he ain't putting his 0 on the line just cos some chump tried to bait him

        Hatton = Low RISK BIG REWARD

        Cotto= BIG RISK BIG REWARD

        That is why he fought Hatton,Judah,Gatti

        That is why he hasn't fought.. Cotto,Margarito,Mosley

        Williams has perhaps become the most overated boxer in the sport...

        He would lose 100/100 fights with Floyd..

          Floyd will fight Cotto by before 2008 is up. I personally think that everyone would be served well if Cotto fought someone like Margarito and got a 24/7 style promotion to give Cotto a bit more exposure before a fight with Mayweather. By the end of the year, demand for Mayweather-Cotto will be boiling over and Cotto will personally thank Floyd for having held out for a while.

            ......is low reward and he has been calling out Shane for ages. I do concur with that overrating of Paul though.

                  I agree with you on Mayweather. He has shown throughout his career that he is not willing to take a risk. After he got his contract with HBO, he really never stepped up to any top competition. Just look at his run at 140 where he didn't fight Tszyu or Hatton and ducked a guy who was calling him out (Vivian Harris). At 147, it's been more of the same. And it's not like it's random bums calling out Mayweather. We're talking about top welterweights who all make for big money fights.

                  About Williams, I haven't passed judgement yet. He did have a good fight with Margarito, but I need to see him in there with more top guys. I still think his size would trouble Mayweather.

                    Mosley had the opportunity he didn't want any piece of Floyd. Cotto dominated Mosley. What do you think Mayweather would have did?
