And it's not like it's random bums calling out Mayweather. We're talking about top welterweights who all make for big money fights.

About Williams, I haven't passed judgement yet. He did have a good fight with Margarito, but I need to see him in there with more top guys. I still think his size would trouble Mayweather.
One thing you need to keep in mind about Mayweather is that he grew up sparring bigger, taller guys and typically does very well against that type of fighter, the most notable one being against Deigo Corrales, but I think it's Williams work rate that ultimately defeats Mayweather. He threw over 1000 punches against Margarito and let's not forgot the 9" reach advantage he has working for him over Mayweather.

Yeah the thing is though, when those guys fight Mayweather? They get so confused their work rate drops by 50 60% lol

            Floyd Easy UD over Paul

Perhaps. Everyone has valid points but I just have to see it thats all. Floyd is ****ing crafty and it would come as no suprise if he beat Williams but between Williams and Cotto as potentials to defeat Mayweather how can you honestly pick Cotto to win? I don't care if he has power. Mayweather will literally run circles around him and potshot him all night.

Cotto has to put more money on the line.

                How can he do that?

                Shameless self promotion
Beat a champion, or at least someone on a winning streak.
Then some more shameless self promotion.

PBF ain't fighting no-one until the money is right, and if the money is right he will fight anyone end of story. I guess his idea of what counts as reasonable money might be slightly different to ours, but hey he's already philthy rich so he needs the extra motivation.

You said the reason he hasn't fought Shane is because of the high risk high reward. He has wanted to fight Shane for years even during Shane's prime. I guess that reward far outweighed the risk my friend.
