      Lucian Bute- Bute by Decision
      Carl Froch- Pavlik by KO
      Mikkel Kessler- Kessler by KO
      Vernon Forrest- Pavlik by KO
      Felix Sturm- Pavlik by KO
      Winky Wright- Pavlik by Decision
Sakio Bika- Tough one, I'd favor Pavlik
      Anthony Mundine- Pavlik by KO
      Librado Andrade- See Kessler/Andrade
Bernard Hopkins- Hopkins by Decision(depending on Hopkins state by the time they fought)
So Pavlik KO's Vernon Forrest, out boxes Winky Wright but Sakio Bika is a tough one??...with all due respect I think you're smoking some very strong, very good crack.

I would love to see Kessler vs Pavlik. It's the match that a lot of people think he would lose. Pavlik would have to elevate his game a lot to hang with Kessler's boxing skills.
Calzaghe showed that pressure is the way to defeat Kessler but can Pavlik bring the kind of intelligent aggression that Joe did or rather bring the kind of aggression that Andrade did. In that case Pavlik would lose and lose badly.

Both can punch hard and neither man will quit. This fight would answer a lot of question about both boxers.

Another fight I'd like to see is Pavlik vs Abraham. Abraham is very tough and he can punch hard too.
But Pavlik could outwork him because Abraham is known for taking time off during rounds, it could prove to be critical against someone like Pavlik.
Abraham would have to fight for full 12 rounds.

Those two are in my opinion two of the best matches that can be made.

Watch Bika against Calzaghe and then come apologize. Bika fights absolutely NOTHING like Winky or Forrest.

Apologize for thinking you're on crack? No. I've seen that fight several times- I'm not ignorant because I disagree. Bika is unorthodox, I know that, and Joe came out with less than his A-game; he admitted that.

Sakio Bika is not nearly as skilled as Forrest or Wright. You're crazy to suggest Pavlik could take those accomplished boxers and fail with a journeymen like Bika.

I stand by my opinion; we simply disagree.

Calzaghe is not unbeatable. I think Pavlik actually matchesup kinda good against him and would have real chance of beating him, and it's not important really but more so though than anybody else I can think of.

Pavlik strikes me as one not as versatile as some claim, and one with nowhere near a top notch chin, as shown. Someone like Bika could frustrate him, but as I said, I would favor Pavlik. I didn't say Bika wins, you're putting words in my mouth.

Forrest is an old Welterweight, who cares if he's a better pure boxer than either? He is too small and too far past it at this stage. Winky is also a bit too small to beat any top MW's or above at this stage of his career, other than a guy like Miranda.

I agree with you that Pavlik is becoming a band-wagon fighter when he's really a champion with a lot to prove. I just can't understand why Bika, who is simply unorthodox but not a strong puncher, or incredibly gifted, is something Pavlik can't handle. I think Kelly would just pressure a journeymen like Bika and KO him around the 7th.

I know Wright is on the down-slope but, in my book if he can fight with a much, much bigger man like Hopkins and not get hurt he's got enough left in the tank to outbox a green fighter like Kelly. Yes, I know Bernard is old himself and less active, so you can't say Wright was amazing to keep himself together in that fight...but skill beats size in many cases.

Forrest is small compared to Pavlik. Damn small; I agree. That said, I think he has enough skill that he could muscle out a decision if he keeps himself VERY focused and protects himself well. I'd give him way more of a shot than Bika. While Bika has unorthodox punches at least Forrest has good technical ability and better speed. Forrest is rangy for a welterweight/Jr. middleweight and actually has a longer reach than Bika, too. That'd help.
