    A) you sohuld not even compare Holyfield to haye, they are two completely different fighters with a completely different set of skills and abilities, not even saying that a prime Holy is a better fighter then Haye
    B) Even if you are gonna compare Holy to Haye, should I remind you how did Holy did against Lewis, the closest, stylewise, fighter to Wlad?

wow, this should be called 'taking out of context' forum. there is no way I am compairing holyfield as far as career success goes. I am comparing weight classes cuz ppl seem to think that guys going up and down in weight class makes a ginormous difference in how they fight. holyfield was 177lbs in some of his fights early on. He than became a heavyweight and was 230 in some of his fights. everytime I post a poll comparing fighters in different weight classes, ppl tend to think that the fighter will be significantly different in another weight class which I don't believe to be true in most cases. like mayweather fighting as a middleweight vs jones jr. ppl said the fact that mayweather would be at 160, he would lose automatically instead of comparing the fighting styles and skill. mayweather would change I agree, but not enough that it'll make him lose because of it. cuz he might be slower but, mentally he sees teh same speed that he did when he was a lightweight and he'll still be fighter than everyone at middleweight. get what I am trying to say?

Dude.... Weight divisons exist for a reason... Hatton should stay at 140 for a reason.. manny Pacquiao is not Middle weight champ for a reason..

To suggest that a guy at 140 would be the same fighter at 175.. is just plain dumb...

lol,,,holyfield never weighed anywhere near 230. he was 220 at his heaviest. the jump from cruiserweight to heavyweight is huge. only a small percentage of fighters have been succesfull. the difference in strength and power is big time. end of story

holyfield prime at heavyweight was about 209lb. i don't know how haye will take a heavyweight punch in a few fight we will see. but in truth we wont know till they fight each other.
