Why would Hatton ridicule exercise routines of PBF's that he couldn't do himself?

I dont know if there are many fighters that can do that scripted routine because of the speed component, maybe Judah or malinaggi, but the fact remains that it is mainly for show. Like someone else says, the trainer does most of the work.

exactly .... if you dont know thats mainly for sure you have never been in a gym ...its basically like hittin the speed bag lol ... im sure pbf has a million other better training routines we did not see on 24/7

did you watch 24/7? Hatton couldn't shut the **** up about Floyd .. and it was really Ricky's tone that made it seem, I dunno a bit personal.

almost all the trash talk Ricky said .. he seemed genuinely agitated ... sure trash talk sells a fight .. but Hatton just seemed pissed off .. take the quote below from episode 4.

"Floyd really thinks they're all here to see him?!"

lighten the **** up Ricky, Floyd's saying that to get to you, and judging from your tone, its obviously working .. if you seriously think Floyd is saying that statement as a fact.

and thats why Floyd's trash talk at least on television is much funnier .. because when he's mocking the grunting, or calling Hatton a midget or even swinging wide looping shots .. he just does it to do it .. to clown the guy.

There's nothing impressive about the padwork Mayweather does in front of the camera other then the speed. It's a set routine where Mayweather does nothing but throw half punches. I've seen him turn away during routine to the cameras, he could probably do it with his eyes closed but honestly that really doesn't achieve much. Like someone else said, your supposed to move around like your in a real fight, the trainer should mix up and call out different combinations and also return shots that aren't planned to keep the fighter on his toes. I have no doubt Mayweather could and maybe does do some impressive padwork but I've yet to see it.

And by the way Hatton does incorporate the jumprope into his training and he's not bad, they showed him doing it briefly on 24/7.
