Why would Hatton ridicule exercise routines of PBF's that he couldn't do himself?

    Because Floyd mocked him first.

Why would Hatton make fun of Mayweather's exercise routines with the padwork and the jump rope if he himself couldn't do any of that stuff himself. I never saw anything special in Hatton's training videos and perhaps if he could institute some of that jumprope routine into it, he'd step his game up to the next level. But to ridicule the work that Mayweather puts in the gym is just ******. It obviously has worked very well in his favor.
with all the trash talking mayweather was doing who cares! mayweather was doing most of the dissing

But Hatton was just being funny, so theres no point to even mention it.
How does Roger do most of the work? You have to put your hands on the target as it moves and evade the pad when it comes back. That padwork sharpens your reflexes like nasty. Padwork is for hand eye coordination and reflexes. In padwork, you don't get to pick the punches or the openings, so you have to be ready to hit the targets.

What I'm saying is that it has nothing to do with mocking because it's the way a guy prepares for a fight. That's like me getting on a treadmill and mocking Paul Williams' training for running so much to prepare. I'm not sure where Hatton was coming from there, but if he seriously had that kind of mindset about PBF's training, then he's really out there.

Yes, but how well do you think Hatton would fair against Ray Misterio Jr. if he joined the WWE?

its not a legit boxing workout, its put on for show for the media. Its a scripted routine.

Mysterio has too much experience on him.

Show me another fighter in boxing who can do his padwork that way and I'll take your word for it. But I've spoken to many fighters who are in awe of what Floyd can do on the pads, on the jumprope, and his overall mastery of body coordination.

There was a famous local boxer from Poland who used to headbutt the mitts in the dressing room before a fight. He was like a seal, bobbing his head up and round to get those mitts.

As soon as the fight started, he never once used the head.
