You are talking about threats. I am letting you know that these "threats" arised THIS YEAR. We all know how Floyd's year was and you can't fault someone for having the two biggest fights of the year.

a 38 year old Hopkins was in his prime. Ask anyone in this board and they will tell you the same thing, Prime is NEVER, EVER decided by your age. Most fighters do get slower, take punishment, and dont have the tools when they are Elder but Hopkins was totally different. He started his career at a late age, took less punishment, had the reflexes and tools till late

FACT:If Floyd faces and beats both Cotto and Williams people will come up with more fighters that he is "ducking". lame.
Fact: Floyd didn't fight the biggest threat in the WW division LAST year: Margarito (instead he fought Baldobum.)
Fact: Floyd fought the two extremely overhyped fights this year, one against a way past it 34 year old that had arguably lost 3 of his last 4 fights and had one fight in 2 1/2 years, the other was almost knocked out and arguably knocked down and beaten in his only fight at WW, against a poor opponent.

Fact: Floyd will never face Cotto and Williams.

im not talking about THIS year my homie. As a matter of fact, I dont see why Floyd should fight more than 2 fighters next year. In my opinion, a win over 2 out of these 3 fighters would solidify him as top 10 of all time, Joe Cal, Cotto, and Williams. ****, I would be contempt to see him fight atleast one of these dudes.

So are you telling me that people did not think Hatton was a legit threat and in his Prime? I dont care what anyone says I can bring up 1000 threads right now where Fighters, Writers, etc thought Hatton was a threat.

Basically the point is fighters are always a threat before floyd beats them, once they are beaten its like "Who was a threat?"

Now you answer me, who do you think was a threat to Floyd? interesting because althought Floyd is the most talented fighter ive ever seen I dont think he is unbeatable I would pick Prime Forrest and some other fighters to beat him, but floyd has just moved to Welterweight over a year now, who at that time did you think people thought was a legit thread to him? In the Judah fight people were saying Tricky southpaw with fast hands, etc etc. yet these same people give Cotto credit for beating him, yet they dont give credit for Floyd who beat him.

So when Floyd faces Cotto there will be no complaints from you, correct?

So then YOU are saying that Hatton was the biggest threat to Floyd in the Welterweight division, the division that HE is in?

No kidding, and the Collazo fight PROVED how little a threat Hatton was at welterweight.

LOL, so you want him to fight Joe Calzaghe now. Brilliant, I have no arguements.
