The only time the ring ranked him #1, was when the 140lb/154lb divisions were the hotbeds of boxing.

When Margarito was ranked the #1 WW, everysingle elite fighter was either at 140lb, or 154.

no, well in that interview when asked about breaking his hand his response was ' I hurt my knuckle" AND they asked who he wanted after Corrales..AND HE didnt even utter Margarito's NAME.

not only that when he fought Thursday night on VS, one of the commentators said somehting like " he broke his hand in the Marg fight" the other Comentator said ,"well that's speculation, we know he hurt his knuckle"

TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE FIGHT ..

the fight was in jeorpardy because Marg sprained his ANKLE this was MADE public two weeks before the figth mind you they almost cancelled the fight. Marg was off his feet for 3 WHOLE days just two weeks prior.. but he said it felt good ebough to fight and being that no one will fight him i say he did what he had to do.instead of cancelling but nobody mentiones that the HATERS just talk about Clottey....
marg won 7-5 rounds btw.
