Couple that with his size and undefeated record and you have somebody who isn't a slouch. Isn't one of the first few guys I'd want to see Mayweather fight atm, but he's higher than Marg.

Williams beat Margarito, who is a somebody. Not a huge body, but a somebody. Williams also has an undefeated record. Those 2 facts alone put him head and shoulders above Margarito for barganing chips for a Mayweather match than Marg ever had.
