looking at your corner befudled is NOT nodding twice.....

    outboxing???more like outpunching........

damn did you watch that fight Taylor was marvelous bbut he was puncished brutally, i would have liked him to win, but steele's decision was some what justified by the fact that taylor didnt respond...

Only 2 seconds were left, literally 2 ****ing seconds my friend. Taylor nodded twice when Steele asked him twice. That was one of the most controversial fights in boxing history. Taylor had a very good lead in the scorecards

I do agree that he was over-rated but he wont the Taylor fight. Regardless of what the time is on the clock when you ask a fighter if he is alright and if he wants to continue and he does not responed you stop the fight. For all we know the next few punches Chavez landed could have killed them.. and there is a reason for rematches, to settle any doubts about the first fight, and you being a Mayweather fan have stated that Mayweather won because he won the rematch against Castillo so what difference does it make or matter?
Same with Meldrick Taylor.. They fought again and he got stopped again.

AGAIN, THIS THREAD ISN'T ABOUT THAT SO TAKE IT SOMEWHERE ELSE YOU DOUCHE!

          he didnt nod......

he was winning, you have 36 minutes to win a figh, not 35 minutes 58 seconds......

oh and you say like getting beat for 11 rounds by a prime meldrick taylor is something bad....especially considering the fact that chavez looked great as well......meldrick was jsut insane that night and still lost....

like i said, i wouldve liked for meldrick to win, but he didnt respond...

**** I meant to chose Duran by UD. The only person I can think of defeating a prime Duran at lightweight is Whitaker.

I rate Duran as the greatest Lightweight in History and i favour him to stop Chavez late on in the fight

Tszyu KOed Chavez, and Duran is a more relentless puncher than Tszyu, not to mention he hit noticeably harder(Saw them both in training videos)

Got to think that Duran (Who was technically unbeatable as a lightweight) would eat him up and stop him in the 5th round.
