    No, you are just incorrect.
Boxing is a worldwide sport, nearly every country in the world participates.
Boxing and soccer are probably the two most diverse sports.

I doubt he'll do well in MMA. Once he's taken down it's game over.

I doubt we will see a big name boxer in his prime enter MMA, the money is very poor, a top name boxer can make much, much more boxing than trying MMA. What is more likely to happen is a big boxing promoter will relise they can get the top MMA fighters to box the top boxers because the MMA guy would make much more money boxing than they do fighting MMA. And it would probably be a huge sell on PPV. It is win/win, the MMA guy finally makes some real money, a top ten boxer would make good money and get an easy bout, the promoter would make a killing. Imagine 'Rampage' boxing a top ten boxer. And Liddell also. They would get killed, but it would draw a huge crowd, boxing fans and MMA fans. I actually wish a top promoter would put it together.

            I agree.
Every time this question gets asked, it's a top boxer having to fight in the MMA's.
            Well guess what?
Guess what happens when one of these precious MMA dudes used to fighting with 4 oz gloves gets into the ring with a top flight boxer, at ANY weight class?
Could imagine Lennox Lewis hitting somebody with 4 oz gloves?
            David Haye?
            Pavlik?
            ****, Mayweather?
It would be MURDER. So the MMA dudes can roll around, and if the balls are touching its gay ****.
Have Lidell fight a Cruiser weight. ****, have Rampage fight Ding a Ling. **** would be a joke.
The MMA dudes have there ground and pound ****.
But when it comes to the sweet science, they better back the **** up.

At the current state..assuming that he doesnt know any wrestling or grappling I say no. And also knowing that he has fragile hands..he doesnt stand a chance in MMA. The gloves they use arent boxing gloves..I can see him breaking his hands on someones head then getting slamed and put into some crazy choke hold. MMA is good for fighters who have a foundation of wrestling and or grappling. Boxing is good but only if its combined with some grappling/wrestling.

i say that because he has too much pride to d something half ass. he would learn everything and he would dominate if his hands held up. he is probably a 1000 times better natural athlete than 99% if mma guys.

No doubt..he is a way better athlete than the MMA guys, Boxing is a more disciplined art. Were you are restricted to using hands to block and mount an offensive. MMA is more gabbing and trying to submit your opponent and throwing hay makers..plus its only 5rds..compared to 12. I enjoy boxing more than MMA, becuase I appreciate the skill level in boxing.
