I am pretty sure MMA fighters stand at least some chance in boxing. Just like boxers stand a small chance in MMA.

The difference is, Floyd is not going to 1 punch Ko anyone. MMA fighters train their entire lives to avoid this. Also, all you have to do is put one knee down while doing your takedown and the boxer can't touch the MMA fighter.

now who do you guys think could possibly do some damage in mma?

They ALL had little to no experience in any other martial arts except for Jeremy Williams who had judo and Lytle who did some high school wrestling. To say that a person has decades in a martial art in MMA is jumping the gun. BJ Penn started BJJ at 18, Arlovski started kickboxing and Sambo in his late teens, Sherk only has a high school wrestling background.

I really dont want Mayweather to go to MMA and I doubt he will. To be honest, if he loses it will just give MMA fans more fuel for the fire. It can only be bad for boxing.
            1. Those fighters you listed are not even top 20.

            2. BJ penn is a prodigy. He also started earlier then 18. Bernard Hopkins started training in prison and is one of the p4p best, whats your ****ing point?

            3. AA was in Sambo since he was 4 years old. He started COMBAT SAMBO in the teens.

            4. Sherk is a steroid abusing monkey, who is not top 10. However he is an accomplished wrestler. You can continue training wrestling outside of college you know. Just like some boxers don't go to the Olympics.

The frist UFC lightweight Champion ever was Jens "lil evil" Pulver.
He was a pro boxer and went 4-0

For real though, a guy who'd do good in the MMA who is a current boxer is Sam Soliman. That guy knows
                1. Kickboxing
                2. Karate
                3. A third martial arts I don't remember
And he's a former kickboxing champion if I remember correctly

                    2. A Kimura is one of about 10,000 submissions with about 10,000 ways to set it up. It takes some people 15-20 years to reach a black belt in BJJ or JJ. A Black Belt is not even the highest rank and thats not including no gi training with strikers, like what is used in MMA. Nobody gets caught in Kimura's except unexperienced strikers, like Floyd. You won't ever see any type of grappler past a ****ing Blue Belt get caught in some piece of **** like that. Especially from someone with less skill then a White belt like Floyd.

Get ****ing serious. Thats like saying Matt Hughes could outbox and dominate Floyd in a boxing match and Hughes has more experience with striking then Floyd has with Jiu Jitsu.

fighting is fighting man,,,,you dont have to spend decades to learn moves...it takes practice to perfect them but not decades...headlocks..full nelsons...nolan ryan beatdowns...MMA moves are just fancy **** for what real fighters really do...get ****ing serious

not to mention how much faster the punch will be without big ass boxing gloves on...Somebody will lose teeth and consiousness if they fight Floyd.....he would sverly **** someone up.

                      not to mention the accuracy.....

Floyd would be ducked ASAP in MMA.
