      this is true...

with all the mayweather talk with mma....

i got to thinking about if boxers really decided to do this and wondering what boxers could have a shot at doing this and first guy that comes to mind for me is Tyson.... even at his age now, i think just because of the power he has he could do some damage... of course he'd have to motivate himself and work on a ground game, and if he did, I think he'd have a shot...

now who do you guys think could possibly do some damage in mma?

Hatton would be awesome at a UFC Dryhumping contest or MMA because of his Hugman and hit whilst holding persona.

They have no idea how to stop an Olympic level take down, and have never been kicked or kneed before.

It would be over extremely fast.

PS, I consider getting choked out cold like a ***** getting beat down just like getting Ko'd is.

Floyd is a master boxer. He really is. However Wrestling and BJJ are NOT his sports. He may as well go join the NBA while he is at it.

PS: getting in takedown range is easy as **** and not an issue what so ever.
Oh please. Jeremy Williams, Chris Lytle, Marcus Davis, Alessio Sakara have done just fine in MMA despite being rather mediocre pro boxers. Jeremy Williams was pretty good but got his ass knocked out and Davis, Lytle and Sakara were nothing mroe than punching bags in boxing.

They ALL had little to no experience in any other martial arts except for Jeremy Williams who had judo and Lytle who did some high school wrestling. To say that a person has decades in a martial art in MMA is jumping the gun. BJ Penn started BJJ at 18, Arlovski started kickboxing and Sambo in his late teens, Sherk only has a high school wrestling background.

I really dont want Mayweather to go to MMA and I doubt he will. To be honest, if he loses it will just give MMA fans more fuel for the fire. It can only be bad for boxing.
