agree to disagree....UFC may or may not have the best fighters...But they do have the most hyped up fighters and some of their fight records in the UFC are protected and even sugar coated...the problem with UFC is Dana White seems to have a dictatorship over the fighters....even worse for fighters than Don King some may say...at least Don King knows how to get a million at least for a top 20 boxer....whereas a UFC fighter gets 3,000 on average

The top MMA fighters make good money. No matter where they fight. It's the young guys coming up that make the garbage money like $3000. I agree they should get paid more. However lots of the money is also not shown to us. the UFC is a private company. They only show SOME of what the fighters get.

For example. Randy made like 250k for his last PPV show or something like that. However, after Randy started bitching, the fertita's accountant had a press conference and showed how Randy made in the multi millions.

The style of fighting. We will never know but I think Mayorgas style translates well into MMA. Mayweathers is the complete opposite, which wouldnt be very usefull in MMA. Mayweather isnt man enough to fight top p4p fighter like Mayorga did.

here's the bottom line....

Mayweather has more than a puncher's chance to beat any MMA fighter in his weight class...plus he has the footwork and hand speed....he has the work ethic to acquire some grappling or even wrestling...

footsteps he can follow if he were serious are those of Chuck Lidell...he had a long win streak thanks to his Fists and his DEFENSE...

as the worlds p4p fighter you gotta believe he has those two attributes...

BUT....the UFC and the MMA as of now belongs to Wrestlers/Striker. Rashad Evans, Rampage, Randy Cotoure, Matt Hughes, And GSP works hard on his wrestling....BJ Penn is just one of a kind and has almost perfected his craft (conditioning a factor)........those type of fighters will give any boxer a hard match....but those type of fighters can get caught easily by the Sweetscience...bam bam pop pop on the chin all day!!!!

Look, I love the way Floyd operates in the ring, but he'd get eaten alive in MMA. Those that think he'd automatically be "the man" in MMA is proving how little they know about the sport. Stand-up fighting is just half the game.. Floyd would get owned on the ground. The guy has ZERO wrestling experience. He has only trained in boxing, exclusively, his whole life. Once one of these MMA dudes take Floyd to the ground and pound on him, and put an armbar on him, and make him tap and squeal like a pig.. he's gonna wish he was still in a ring..

I honestly hope this MMA talk is just one bad joke. Why the f would PBF go to a sport where he'd get paid less and where he'd get his ass kicked? He's the king of boxing. He has no reason to want anything else
