And Floyds career has absolutly exploded after dropping Arum, the DLH and Hatton fights and the national exposure he has recieved goes to show that Mayweather is a better promoter than Arum.

Lol, if you belive this. Im sure this is why floyd fought Castillo in an under card instead of a main event the second time around. The crowd was not there to see him. But if he had the balls to go to staples for the rematch, that would have been a big payday and main event status plus a full arena, yeah he's smart alright smart to fight and decide scared.

Do you think Floyd will ever get an ovation with 1/1000th of the intensity that Hatton got? Floyd has no evident fan base. No one cheers him, no one would go out of their way to go to England to support him. His only fans seem to be like a few oddballs in boxing forums.

Floyd piggy backs by fighting big superstars with huge followings. It remains to be seen if Floyd captures Hatton's and Oscar's fans and adds them to his fanbase. I doubt it.

Fighters like Tyson, Tito, Duran, Cotto, Oscar when you see them you almost get chills knowing how great they are. Fans go nuts when they see them, and they get huge cheers when they are at ringside for fights. Mayweather gets nothing even remotely close. And ten or 20 yers down the road, I don't think he;ll get it either. Fans just don't warm up to the guy for some reason.

cowards do not have fans. no real boxing fan would pay there hard earn money to watch a marathon. plain and basic common sense.

Indeed, I was thinking about the original offer that led to the buyout.
That is an interesting article, and Arum is great at making it look like Floyd ducked Margarito. And it does appear that Floyd "ducked" Tony, but thats only if you believe the **** that Bob Arum says.
