You're wrong about Povetkin, Duffgun. I remember you predicted Byrd would defeat him, but it turned out Povetkin won every round and made them throw in the towel in the 11th! For some reason you keep underestimating Povetkin.

W.Klit is the best of a poor lot...in the 80s he would have been Gerry Coony,an ok fighter but not the ruler of the division.

Wladimir is a lot better than Cooney and we both know it.

That's very true. I believe the next great American heavyweight will appear within a few years, though.

Povetkin will turn out to be the best IMO.

              at the American conspiracy.

The HW division sucks right now, American or non-American.

It ****** in the early 80s when it was mostly Americans. It's weak now when there's hardly any Americans in the mix.

Anytime you've got Sam Peter and Oleg Maskaev being considered top heavyweights, and recently had Shannon Briggs being considered a top HW, the division ain't good.

Yeah I'm just going of his style, seems to be the only HW who throws in combos and presses attacks.

you just proved yourself to be a mental midget by comparing a slow one dimensional cooney to wlad

if maskeav is considered a top heavyweight its only becuase he fought rahman who was given the title. there are a handful of european fighters better then both maskeav and peter
