Look at Ray Lewis getting a little angry. Like he's waving around his machete. But we'll shoot him down with the truth...

Floyd was confronted by Margarito who challenged him to his face. Floyd showed his true colors in that moment. he held his master's hand and pleaded for Margarito to leave him alone till the fight made "business sense."

No floyd has never stepped up and challenged a great fighter in his prime, at his mental and physical best. He has handpicked every opponent from day one.

Ellerbe ansers phone: "Margarito, Cotto and Williams need not apply to fight Mayweather, they just don't make business sense at this time. Thanks for the call."

Let's wish Floyd well in recovering from his two bad cases of Margaritoitis and now he has been sick in bed with a second malady - Cottoitis. bad news though - lil Floyd is showing severe symptons of Williamsitis too.

RON PAUL BABY. 9/11 was in inside job. RON PAUL the only candidate who puts the interests of the U.S. FIRST, all the rest are puppets for the establishment.

                  http://www.maxboxing.com/Kim/Kim110905.asp

Arum and Diaz say that the 'Pretty Boy' was offered in the neighborhood of $7 million to face Margarito. In what could best be described as a 'business move', the same guy who brazenly challenged the bigger Winky Wright decided to bypass Margarito, to collect nearly $4 million to spar with Sharmba Mitchell.

"Flat turned him down like you can not believe," Arum said of Mayweather when he was offered a chance at the WBO title. "Any time we raised his name, Mayweather went crazy."

Could it be that Mayweather will never get in the ring with him?

"I don't know, you never say never," said Arum last week in Los Angeles, where he was in town for Klitschko's open workout with the media. "Floyd is a very proud guy. The more people talk about all these guys ducking Margarito, of anybody, Floyd is the one who'll step up and say,'I'll face him'. He's a ballsy guy but his people have told him that Margarito is the most dangerous guy for him out there."
LMAO @ this clown. Mayweather is not going to fight an over sized bum at his first trip to Welter weight, especially since the fight with Zab was already planned pending a successful title defense. Nobody knew Margarito and nobody wanted to see that fight, there was no demand for it. He also chose to fight Baldomir due to the criticism he received if he chose not to. He wasn't being criticized for opting to fight the overrated Margarito, they wanted for him to fight a legitimate champion.

After Zab, Mayweather was waiting on a fight with De La Hoya (not Marg) in September, but De La Hoya turned it down.

Now, after weeks of will-he-or-won't-he speculation, De La Hoya has made his decision. He will detail it to the media in a teleconference Wednesday afternoon, Richard Schaefer of Golden Boy Promotions told ESPN.com on Monday night.

"He's going to talk about what he has decided to do," Schaefer said. "Oscar told me what he is going to do, but I can't comment on it. He wants to make the announcement."

Whatever De La Hoya announces, he won't announce a Sept. 16 fight with Mayweather.

Leonard Ellerbe, a Mayweather adviser, told ESPN.com that the Mayweather camp has been informed that De La Hoya won't fight again this year.

"Every indication we've gotten from Golden Boy Promotions is that he is not going to fight this year," Ellerbe said. "They have not indicated what exactly he will do, but he is not fighting Floyd Mayweather and he is not fighting this year. That's what we've been told."
Floyd Mayweather Jr., widely regarded as the pound-for-pound king, will challenge welterweight champion Carlos Baldomir Nov. 4 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

^Only then did he go ahead and fight Baldy, but not before repelling criticism given that he was left for a loop in picking an opponent. He was also contemplating Cory Spinks, but again, the demand was to fight Baldy!

                  Quote:
For beating Judah, Mayweather, 29, won a tainted welterweight belt, one that Judah was allowed to keep by the IBF even though he lost to Baldomir (43-9-6, 13 KOs) in a title fight. Mayweather later relinquished it.

Against Baldomir, Mayweather can win the recognized world welterweight championship. He previously won titles as a junior lightweight, lightweight and junior welterweight.
.......................In addition to so much negative press about a Spinks fight, there were other issues. Spinks, who beat Roman Karmazin July 8 to win the belt, owes Rodney Jones a mandatory fight, and Jones promoter Artie Pelullo was considering legal action if Jones was bypassed in favor of a Spinks-Mayweather bout.

It was enough to cause Mayweather's handlers a big enough headache that they decided to finalize a deal with Baldomir, which is the more fan-friendly fight anyway.

Floyd Mayweather Jr., widely regarded as the pound-for-pound king, will challenge welterweight champion Carlos Baldomir Nov. 4 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

^Again, nobody cared one lick about the bum you speak of, Mayweather's actions were justified by both demand, finance, and legacy (winning a REAL title at Welter Weight). Now stop being a clown.

Floyd has earned a year off for 2008, a year of easy fights, a "All Pay Glory To FLoyd World Tour" if you will. Three easy fights for FLoyd to give back to his fans three special exhibitions of the greatest fighteer eve. Floyd can make $10 million per fight.
Of course Mayweather had a tough year fighting a hall of famer still in great shape and much bigger than him while not being much older, and against an opponent his size. If you're implying that Ricky isn't a REAL welter weight, then what is Floyd and what does that say about Margarito trying to fight a former Jr. Light weight at his first trip up? Oh yea, he's a warrior.

Your sarcasm is blunted by your own fallacies and ill logic.
