Another thing I don't think Hopkins will be able to mentally intimidate Calzaghe. In their first encounter Hopkins tried to put down Calzaghe's opposition and then Calzaghe just told him, you lost twice to Taylor and that was it, nothing more to say. Bernard went crazy and said he'd never lose to white man. ****ing Ray Robinson lost to a white man but Bernard can't, wow!

No but his interview got a lot of attention over there for saying "I'll never lose to a white boy".

That said, I'm getting offline for the night. I'll check back in a few days and respond accordingly.

Will Calzaghe be able to deal with the rough house tactics.

Oh, COME ON... at least TWO of those names were SIGNIFICANTLY smaller men than Borehard. If that's "slicing it any way", then so be it, but what next? Borehard gets credit for KOing Manny Pac cos "Pac was in the P4P rankings"?

So the punch-perfect pressure-fighting Hopkins of the Joe Lipsey and Glen Johnson fights wasn't light years better than the Hopkins who fought Winky Wright?

The Calzaghe who fought Eubank has been seen since (other than flashes against Shobot, Giminez and Sheika)?

Without a doubt, Joe is just as rough on the inside.
Fact is Hopkins's been too economical as of late and Joe is still very aggressive.

I don't agree with that, in any way shape or form.

You're right about Hopkins, but I was mostly referring to the comment in the original post about Calzaghe, although the comment about Hopkins was a bit ignorant as well. If you think that way about Calzaghe you're straight up foolish. Bernard is old and nothing like he used to be, which is why he has no chance in this fight. Calzaghe may be a bit past his prime, but still fights with the same style and is still among the top 5 P4P boxers in the world easily, so saying what you did is just ridiculous.

I need to go to bed, so can we agree on one thing? If it came down to a dish off, Joe would win this inside a round.
