(Ps, people on this forum rather talk about how Floyd mayweather is the best ever then actually have a good discussion about boxing, because most don't know much about the sport).
It get's boring the same old threads everyone complains but don't contribute to anything different and they keep on posting in the same old threads.

Meldrick Taylor it's such a shame, also he never really accepted it and fought on until 2002 I think. How he got a licence I don't know.
But if he used his head more in the ring instead of wanting to fight all the time instead of box he'd have won against chavez and could have beat anyone.

      Johnny Owen. Brave brave man.

Sadly passed away after a brave challenge for the World Bantamweight Title against Lupe Pintor.

Sad thing is even in Wales he's not widely known, but where he is known he's spoken of as a hero

Leavander Johnson who died you can basically say inside the ring, they took him out on a stretcher but dude was dead once he fell, his body movements were just the process of dying, Jesus Chavez did that.. also Pedro Alcazar when he faced Fernando Montiel, dude died 2 days later, they say it was due to head injury that was already there but I don't believe he would have died had it not been for all those punches he recieved in the Montiel fight..

also Billy Collins Jr who Panama Lewis ****ed over, he didn't have another fight after that because Panama Lewis wrapped Luis Resto's hands illegally, Luis Resto originally won the fight by UD but it got turned into a NC and he was hit with a 3 year bid, both him and Lewis were banned from Boxing indefinitely but a while back like in 2000-2001 I was training with Luis Resto and Juan LaPorte in a gym in NYC and me and my pops got a chance to holla at him about the incident, he said he didn't even know what had happened, he trusted his trainer and his trainer ****ed him over and he felt horrible about it, he was training and making local gym fight appearances, exhibitions for the local fans in the hood and he was training hard but nothing official, nothing like a televised bout but the **** was just unreal to see him and build with him on that matter, dude was as cool as they come and he was always in the gym, it's a shame that ****ing trainer wrapped his hands that way and an even bigger shame Collins Jr had to take that punishment.. 100

I believe it.. I looked dead in his eyes as he was talking and he didn't show no signs of lying, he said he trusted his trainer and just went out to do his job, they find out his hands were illegally wrapped and he gets in the trouble, even that day he was still remorseful for putting Collins threw that, he gave him his props he just had no clue what was going on and he just fought his fight, in his mind he was winning the right way and then that **** ruined his career, dude is a class act and I believe him.. whether he is actually lying is another story but I believe him, regardless he's only lying to himself if he's actually lying because he is the one who has to live with that. 100
